Markal Organic White Chia Seeds are a useful supplement to your daily diet. These seeds are rich in potassium, calcium, vegetable protein, as well as antioxidants that prevent aging, with Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, which are necessary for the prevention of osteoporosis and lower blood cholesterol levels.
Chia seeds can be eaten both whole and chopped by adding to cereals, muesli, salads, yoghurts and drinks (2 tablespoons per day is enough). They can also be used in the form of flour for making pancakes, cookies or bread (no more than 5% of chia seeds).
